April 2017 – The world spins brighter in the heart and soul of a dancer. The New York Dance Festival is an annual dancesport competition held at the incomparable Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of  Manhattan!

It is one of the biggest championships hosted in the United States. The organizers of the festival are two former championship dance partners: Eugene Katsevman and Maria Manusova.

The festival founders say they have seen a major increase in interest and participation in New York in the last ten years. The competition is fierce, the focus is intense. They train for upwards of 20 hours a week while maintaining a work, school and family life balance. They Love to dance but they want to win!

The New York Dance Festival Partners with the Connor Bishop Zion Foundation, The Fordney Foundation, and the World Pro-Am Dancesport Series. The NYC Dance organizations all share a vision of helping dancers pursue their education, and competitive dancesport goals through scholarships and other means of support.
