BOTTEGA VENETA SPRING 2022 FASHION SHOW

October 21, 2021, Detroit, MI: Motor City meets Daniel Lee.

First came a show in London followed by Berlin. Now, Italian luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta crossed the Atlantic to the U.S., and to Detroit specifically, for its third all new-format show: Salon 03. The much-anticipated star-studded show showcased the Spring 2022 collection inside the famous Michigan Theater in downtown Detroit and broadcast live to the NYC Times Square Screens.

Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Burna Boy, Zazie Beetz, Debbie Mazur, Kehlani, Sasha Lane & Syd were seen in the Front Row.

Artist Jeff Koons sat alongside Detroit celebrities Awenate Cobbina, chief executive officer of Shinola parent company Bedrock Group; Library Street Collective gallerists JJ and Anthony Curis; fashion designer Tracy Reese, and pioneering techno DJs Moodymann and Carl Craig, who designed the light and sound afterparty below in a old parking garage.

Lourdes Leon, whose mother Madonna is from Detroit, was one of the high-profile models.

Bottega Veneta hopes the vibrant and energetic show will leave a mark in a city that is enjoying a cultural renaissance.
