Art Market Hamptons 2022 Returns to Reflect on the Sign of the Times

Art Market Hamptons 2022, the East End’s premier art fair, returned to the Hamptons featuring 85 top galleries presenting the best in modern and contemporary art and design in an expanded, museum-quality pavilion at the fair’s new home – Nova’s Ark Project & Sculpture Garden. a 94-acre property dedicated to the sculptures and art of late artist Nova Mihai Popa.

From SEIZAN in Japan to Laurent Marthaler Contemporary in Switzerland, this year’s Art Market Hamptons spotlighted art from across the globe. There were also a few Hamptons-based galleries like JUKO Gallery in Bridgehampton and Arte Collective in Southampton.

Some other highlights included Tuleste Factory, a New York City-based female-run gallery making its Art Market debut, and VSOP Projects, a Greenport-based gallery that will not only show off their art but have a large-scale installation that greets attendees as they enter.

Ola Rondiak, an accomplished artist who presents the viewers with a rare contemporary art with a historical conscience. The 56 year old Cleveland, Ohio native’s paintings stem from her family’s experiences living in Ukraine during the historical events of WWII, Stalin’s Iron Curtain, the Orange Revolution in 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity in 2014. These events shaped Ola Rondiak’s world view.

Emotional experiences surface in her artworks as her own history intertwines with Ukrainian history and tradition as she documents her emotions and knowledge of what is happening now in her beloved second home…

Ola brought her new work to Art Market Hamptons to highlight the horror and devastation caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine Ola has longed documented war on her canvases but never ever thought this could be as close to her as it is now…
