THE 2023 MARK WAHLBERG CELEBRITY INVITATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT AT SHADOW CREEK GOLF COURSE
Dozens of celebrities and athletes joined Mark Wahlberg in Las Vegas to participate in the inaugural Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation Celebrity Invitational at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The guests were on the links for the highly anticipated celebrity golf tournament at Shadow Creek, one of the world’s most exclusive golf courses, followed by the fundraising gala, which featured entertainment by Busta Rhymes.

The American Museum of Natural History hosted celebrities, designers, and tastemakers for the annual CFDA Fashion Awards. The night recognizes the power of the American fashion industry and its core contributors, the evening celebrated the intersection of fashion and pop culture, with a shout out to the influence of hip hop, sports, and entertainment.
Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway hosted the ceremony, which was presented by Amazon Fashion. New CFDA Chairman Thom Browne welcomed the honorees, nominees, and guests during his opening remarks, marking his first CFDA Fashion Awards since taking up his post at the top of the trade group.
Nominees, honorees, and winners were determined by the CFDA Awards Guild which is composed of CFDA members, leading fashion journalists, stylists, and top retail executives.

‘Oppenheimer’ U.S. Premiere Cancels Red Carpet Amid SAG-AFTRA Strike – London & Paris Coverage
Universal Pictures canceled the upcoming red carpet at the U.S premiere of Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” amid the SAG-AFTRA strike. Just prior, the cast gathered in London and Paris for the Europe premiere – Bader Studios Europe covered both events to talk with the actors and producers about the strike and this movie being the last one promoted.
“Oppenheimer” cast members, Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon and Emily Blunt were in London for the premiere but did not attend the screening of the film. Nolan informed the audience that his actors left the premiere to start making picket signs for the strike. The premiere’s red carpet actually started an hour earlier so that cast members could attend to promote the movie before the actors’ strike began.
Damon said: “We gave the strike authorization. We voted 98% to 2% to do that because we know our leadership has our best interest at heart.” Emily Blunt told Variety: “Obviously we stand with all of the actors and at whatever point it’s called, we’re going to be going home and standing together through it because I want everyone to get a fair deal.”

Gucci’s Ancora Star Studded Fashion Show in Milan, Italy
With 62 runway shows taking over Milan during fashion week, the Gucci show stood out with the number of stars and celebrities that turned out to see what the new designer, Sabato De Sarno had planned.
Kering hopes this showing will help revive sales at its flagship brand which suffered a sales decline.

The runway along with the Hollywood crowd that turned out to see what is next, saw a new appreciation of beauty, creating a foundation of a wide scale reset for the French group’s core label – which would be the key to creating buzz and reigniting sales, even if the new designs won’t reach stores until early next year.
Since parting ways last November with previous creative director Alessandro Michele, whose spirited, gender-neutral styles were credited with huge sales and profits to match in a four year period, Kering has been planning a new foundation for the brand’s reset with more elevated and timeless looks.

The late Chanel designer adopted the white Birman feline in 2011, and she has since become a star as the world just saw on the red carpet at the Met Gala.
Jared Leto honored the legendary designer by appearing in a 6 foot tall cat costume – hugging the celebrities and guests on his way up the steps.
The iconic fashion designer even said that having Choupette with him helped him “become a nicer person.”
Wearing a backless embellished custom Oscar de la Renta gown, which featured a hood with built-in cat ears, Doja Cat also celebrated Lagerfeld’s legacy by adding a prosthetic feline-inspired nose. She completed the look with a cat-eye liner and extremely thin eyebrows.

Catherine Holstein of Khaite was awarded Womenswear Designer of the Year, while Emily Adams Bode Aujla took home the Menswear Designer of the Year award.
The stars were there – Cher, Kim Kardashian, Lenny Kravitz, Bradley Cooper, Kerry Washington, Natasha Lyonne, Martha Stewart and Trevor Noah mixing it up the legendary designers and the new regime coming into play.
Cher awarded Patti Wilson the Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard.
