October 2017 – The Elsie Festival, now in its third year, celebrates Broadway stars and their songs from stage and screen. It is a festival that brings fans closer to their idols from the stage and screen, as they sing along with them while also raising money for charity. The 2017 Elsie Festival was hosted by New York radio personality Elvis Duran.

Every year, a portion of the Elsie Festival proceeds benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids.

In addition to the entertainment value of the Elsie Festival, a strong message of empowerment and inclusiveness resonated among the artists and the audience.

For fans of the hit TV show Glee – There was a reunion that sparked the loudest cheers of the event when Darren Criss and Lea Michele shared the stage. Channeling their roles from Glee, they both sang songs that they famously performed on the show when it originally aired.

The Elsie Festival is a testimony to the power of theater and music, with songs that emphasize the universal themes of hope, courage, faith, love, freedom and joy.

The Elsie Festival inspires and stirs the soul; and it only happens in one place, New York City.
