2018 Time 100

May 2018 – It is an annual list of individuals that receive worldwide praise and stir conversation. To many of those in the public eye whom are chosen, it affords them even greater exposure. For those who toil in relative obscurity, their selection sheds a light on the important work they are doing.

The Time 100 list is not a measure of power or celebration of milestones, it’s about individuals who are making an impact on society at this moment in time.

They inspire! They spark our imagination! They give us hope and they fuel our ambitions! They are the Time 100 in New York City!

Chosen by Time Magazine editors, the 100 most influential people of 2018 are breaking down social and political barriers, which were powerful themes this year. The evening also celebrated personal triumphs as many recipients paid tribute to those that inspired them. This year’s Time 100 selection were a diverse group of people, they all share a common passion in their commitment to making the world a better place. 2 new records were set at this year’s Time 100, 45 people on this list are under the age of 40, and 45 of the Time 100 are Women.

Also in attendance were leaders in activism, business, government, journalism, public service, entertainment, and arts & culture. Musical performances by Shown Mendes and Jennifer Lopez enhanced the festive spirit of the celebration

The Time 100 are making a difference in the world we live in. Some of them may already be our personal heroes. Some may even be individuals whom we do not see eye to eye with, and there are also new people we’ve just discovered! The Time 100 reflects where we are bow and where we are going, and that is exhilarating!
