LVMH has partnered with Robyn Rihanna Fenty to create a new luxury Maison based in Paris. The new Maison, named FENTY, is centered on Rihanna, developed by her, and takes shape with her vision in terms of ready to wear, shoes and accessories, including commerciality and communication of the brand.
The initial offering, Release 5-19, a luxury brand for the 21st century, FENTY operates from a digital flagship – www.FENTY.com – which is now live. Releases are supported by ephemeral boutiques – a unique experience for both a physical and digital audience. Releases include special-edition pieces, available for limited timeframes, and core items. Inspired by a worldwide community beyond traditional boundaries, FENTY embraces a fundamental freedom: a freedom from convention and the rules.

PRINCESS CRUISES – THREE OCEAN LINERS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
With two additional ships on order for delivery in 2023 and 2025, Princess Cruises becomes the fastest growing premium line driven by a strategic measured capacity growth over the next six years, adding to its current fleet of 17 ships.
The steel-cutting ceremony for the sixth and final Royal-class ship, was broadcast live to the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone from the builder’s yard in Naples, Italy. This ceremony marked the cutting of the first plates of steel to begin the building phase of the as yet unnamed ship.
TOMMY HILFIGER’S RUNWAY SHOW IN SHANGHAI
Tommy Hilfiger unveiled his fall ’18 collection in Shanghai with help from F-1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Winnie Harlow and Hailey Baldwin. The runway was erected along the Bund, Shanghai’s historic waterfront, with the city’s colorful skyline as the backdrop, Hilfiger made quite the impression for his fifth see-now, buy-now show.
FIA Formula One racing champion Hamilton was on hand to debut the first Tommy x Lewis capsule collection, which has been the talk of fashion social media this summer as two announced their partnership earlier this spring and his collection, which fuses sport and street, now made its way on the runway.
Others models walking the runway included Joan Smalls, Maggie Jiang and Lucky Blue Smith, while K-pop stars Chanyeol Park of EXO and Taeyeon of SNSD sat in the front row.
FRAGRANCE DYNASTY HOUSE OF CREED – LAUNCHES NEW VIKING LINE
Paris based fragrance dynasty House of Creed, which traces its aromatic roots back to 1760 and King George III, has launched a new luxury fragrance entitled “Viking.”
The powerful scent opens with notes of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, and La Réunion baie rose (also known as pink peppercorn). The middle notes are filled with peppercorn, Bulgarian rose, and peppermint. The fragrance finishes with Indian sandalwood, Haitian vetiver, Indian patchouli, and lavandin absolute.
