RIHANNA REVEALS THE SAVAGE X FENTY FALL/WINTER 2018 COLLECTION AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

BROOKLYN NAVY YARD, BROOKLYN, NY – Wednesday, September 12, 2018 – At New York Fashion Week, Rihanna invited guests to experience the hypnotic world of Savage X Fenty. The Fall/Winter 18 collection was revealed as exotic installations came to life and Savages emerged from their world into ours. Amidst an artificial place of another kind, with botanical domes, hydrophonics, and natural floral, the Savages explored and moved through the set in a choreography and took guests on a journey of their world. The collection, available for purchase immediately after the show, takes inspiration from Rihanna’s favorite go-to lingerie pieces and fuses it with a street style vibe. Bold, fresh and playful, the Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018 collection is sure to capture the imagination.

 

Fall brings a mix of unexpected colors and prints; acid fluo neon colors in solid and animal print paired with nudes and neutrals, jewel tone hues spark including deep emerald, ruby and amethyst; and the introduction of new silhouettes, cut high on the leg and flattering for all body types. Traditional styles are reimagined and transformed; bralettes and undies become edgy in fishnet and barely there mesh, satin pajamas are oversized and can be worn day or night, and bodysuits range from knitted to super sexy featuring sheer triangle cups and an open back with detail that frames your backside. There is an expansion of nudes and neutrals to the existing collection, introducing popular styles in a variety of essential colors for every shade and skin tone.
